Tyler received his 3rd round of Chemotherapy yesterday. Along with 2 shots, blood tests and an appointment with his oncologist. It made for a tiring afternoon, but still he keeps his head up. While doing blood work, the medical staff discovered that Tyler's red blood cell count is super low again. It's at a 7.1 (8.0 is the lowest it should be). The Dr. isn't sure why. My guess is that his hip bone is still bleeding from the fracture. Hopefully we can find out more once Tyler gets his next MRI done. He is scheduled for a PET and MRI within the next couple weeks.
Tyler was given his second blood transfusion today. He has more energy now and feels better.
Tyler recently celebrated his 35th birthday. YAY! We received a birthday miracle regarding his health. The night before his birthday Tyler said he felt weird, so I took his temperature. It was 101.6. We are suppose to call the nurse help line if his temp. is above 100.5. We prayed that he would feel better the next day, so he wouldn't have to spend his birthday in the hospital. We had hope for a birthday miracle. And "tada!" the next morning his temperature was normal. I am glad Heavenly Father did this for Tyler. God is still Great!
