Tyler received radiation treatment on Friday afternoon and then flew home soon after. Tyler was so happy to be home. We hope that he will start getting feeling back to his legs soon. Tyler has been really tired as his body fights for normalcy. We had a bit of a scare this morning. He had really bad pain starting right under his diaphragm and spreading downward. It was enough pain that he almost passed out 3-4 times within an hour. Thankfully once he ate, took some meds and slept he felt much better.
I called the cancer center's emergency line and we were able to chat with a doctor within the hour. He recommended that Tyler increase his anti-inflammatory meds and then see how things go until his next appointment. The doctors told Tyler that things may get worse before they get better. We just take one day at a time and pray that Heavenly Father inspires us as we move forward.
We see God's hand everyday through His tender mercy. Simple miracles that mean so much to us. A needed hug or conversation, Crumble Cookies, fasting or a kind "we are praying for you." We are blessed by your love and support. God is still Great.
