Tyler and I drove to the hospital this morning for his second biopsy. The nurses and doctors were very kind and helpful. Doctor Christensen showed Tyler on a CT scan where the needle would be placed in his pelvis. It turns out that there is a lot of tumor that is growing/has grown in the hip bones. Going into the procedure today we believed that the sample would be taken from Tyler's muscle tissue, but the Dr. was unable to reach those cells without going through the intestine. We were glad he didn't try it. The procedure only lasted about 45 minutes. The sample they took of affected bone cells will be sent to Dr. Camidge's office in Denver. We are hoping he can help us to know what path we should take next.
Last week was trying for our family. Tyler hasn't been sleeping well due to the mounting pain in his right leg and pelvis bones. It's been discouraging. Thankfully, through much prayer and a blessing Tyler was able to overcome his deep discouragement. Life has not been easy the last 22 months. Even with the tremendous ups and downs Heavenly Father has seen us through. We believe He will continue to do so. We will continue to walk in Faith. God is still great.
We continue in our prayers for you. Your faith is an inspiration to us. Our good and glorious Heavenly Father will will guide you, this we also pray. God bless you, and God is great.
