Emergency Surgery - Prayers for Tyler

Tyler has been in Denver for the last couple of days for his weekly visit. They did an MRI and blood work yesterday. His red blood count was really low and his white cell count is still high. He was given a blood transfusion yesterday. He got half the blood and then had a allergic reaction, so they stopped.

Tyler was making his way through the airport with his mom when the Doctors office called. They couldn't reach Tyler, so they called me. Tyler's whole bottom half has been numb for weeks, and now we know why. The tumor on his upper backside is putting pressure on his lower spinal cord. The Dr. said if he didn't get it fixed in the next couple days he could permanently lose all feeling to his lower half. He also has internal bleeding from a broken pelvis. So he will be having surgery as soon as possible. I have faith that things will be okay, even though I'm still afraid. Please keep Tyler in your prayers.
