Dancing with my Daughters - June 19

Tyler hasn't felt well for the last two weeks. Pain has increased throughout his body and it keeps him awake at night. We contacted Tyler's doctor and he is concerned about these symptoms. Tyler had a brain MRI on Friday and thankfully the scan came back clean. Tyler's PET scan has been moved forward to next Thursday.

Tyler did his 6th round of Chemotherapy on Thursday. Blood work, meeting with his doctor and then another 6 hours of chemo. I don't know if chemotherapy is helping him. Tyler started a new vegetarian and herbal tea diet last week. It won't help his weight, but we are hoping it will help him feel better.

One of the items on Tyler's bucket list is to dance with our daughters at their wedding reception. We wanted to make that happen. My sisters and I put together a little reception in the cultural hall at our chapel. I dressed up our girls in white dresses and recorded them dancing with their daddy. It was such a beautiful spiritual experience. Every dad should dance with his daughter at least once while they are little.

Trusting in God's timing isn't easy. We have been learning in church about how David conquered Goliath with the strength of The Lord. David had courage and great faith. I have been praying that God will give our family these attributes as well. God is still Great.
